The Foundation
The Join Prayer initiative is the first venture started by the PrayNow foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.Our mission is to facilitate the gathering of worldwide individuals in unified prayer 24 hours a day.
The Website
This website allows users in different parts of the world to pray together at the same time in their own language. Currently, the site provides six different languages to follow the prayers, with additional languages being added in the future.The prayer room offers the online community a feeling of connection comparable to praying with others in unison at a church. This feature allows individuals to experience the benefits of community prayer from wherever they are.

Deacon Gregory Werking
Deacon Greg Werking was ordained in 2020 by Bishop Oscar Solis and is assigned to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Sandy/UT. He served in the Air Force for 9 years and has been a pilot for Delta Airlines since 1988. He has been married to his wife Teri for 41 years. They have 3 sons and 3 grandchildren. He is devoted to serving in the Catholic Church. His hobbies include playing chess, poker, watching movies, reading, rowing, and biking. Greg started the PrayNow foundation in January 2019 and is excited to watch it take flight.
Deacon Lynn Johnson
A convert to Catholicism, Deacon Lynn Johnson was ordained to the permanent diaconate in 1979 by Bishop Joseph Lennox Federal. He was in the second group of deacons ordained for the Diocese of Salt Lake City. In his 42 years as a deacon, Lynn has served at St. Vincent de Paul, Blessed Sacrament, Holy Cross Chapel, SS. Peter & Paul, and The Cathedral of the Madeleine. He currently is an Episcopal Master of Ceremonies to Bishop Oscar Solis. He is a photojournalist by profession and spent 40 years at The Salt Lake Tribune.
Robert Woods
Robert Woods is married to his wife Dawn for 21 years. He is a father to 5 children and devoted to both God and family. Robert has been actively involved in his local church at both the parish and diocesan levels, including serving as president of both the diocesan and his parish pastoral councils, lay ecclesial ministry, catechist, music ministry, and more. Robert, a former Army paratrooper, now runs a web development company with this brother.
Carol Rudell
Carol Ruddell is a Lay Ecclesial Minister for the Diocese of Salt Lake City. She is passionate about people with disabilities being active and fully belonging in the Church. She has taught religious education to both children and adults. Carol has interpreted for the Deaf at church for over 40 years. She has been a teacher, an education specialist, and a researcher. Currently, Carol serves as an administrator in mental health and suicide prevention.
Patrice Mimche
Patrice Mimche has been a convert to the Catholic Church since April 2013. He has been married to Sylvie for 18 years and they have 4 daughters and 2 sons. In addition to his scientific/professional occupation, Patrice has a great interest in the Catholic faith and is an avid listener of EWTN and Relevant Radio. He has a doctorate and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Utah School of Medicine.
Scott Czaja
Scott has practice in public accounting with CPA firms for 46 years. He is a CPA and has a M.S. Degree in Taxation from De Paul University in Chicago, Illinois. Scott is currently a Tax Partner at WSRP, LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Scott has served on the Finance Committee at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish in Sandy, Utah for over 10 years.. Scott had served as a Trustee on the Catholic Foundation of Utah for over 21 years. This included terms as President and Treasurer. Scott’s niche in public accounting is estate, trust and planned giving. He also works with non-profit organizations and has served on a number of non-profit boards. Scott is active in the Men’s Prayer Group at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish.
